Restaurant Review

So the three bryant children went out to dinner two nights ago to a new scadanavian/polish restaurant in the 'hood. It was intresting experience and insightful into human behavior. I ate a crawfish sandwich which was excellent--seriously one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Annie and Paul had average sandwiches but nothing to write home about. Beers were 7!!! dollars a piece--how pretentious is that (my sandwhich was 7.50) but service was AWFUL. It took an hour for our food to come and we had all just ordered sadwiches. Fortunately for us, our goal was to talk to each other, listen to music, and hang out before the lil bro left town, but if I had been in the mindset of coming to eat and then leaving I probably would have complained and left.

And that's exactly what the table next to us did. They got their food after a similarly long wait, weren't happy with it, and walked out. I felt sorry for the waitress (no tips, angry customers), sorry for the cook--they obviously had one guy back there all by himself preparing the food as fast as he could--and mad at the owners--new business, why have such horrible service?

Patience is a virtue, and I'm glad we were patient, but when you are paying for a service you deserve service. As sypathetic customers, we left a big tip, but I felt like giving the owners an earful on the way out. One star.
